The Codelocks CL5000 series electronic door locks offer top-tier keyless access control, ensuring security without the need for external wiring, power supplies, or computer servers. Suitable for both interior and exterior doors, these locks meet Grade 2 ANSI-A156.25 standards for control and convenience. The full-size keypad features an intuitive 3 x 4 layout.
The lock can store up to 80 unique user codes and allows for 10 additional One-Time codes for temporary access, ideal for guests or contractors. Programming is straightforward and done via a master code while the lock remains installed on the door.
In its default state, the outside lever moves freely without engaging the latchbolt. Upon entering a valid code, the blue indicator lights up, allowing the lever to retract the latchbolt. For management functions, a key can be used to open the door. The latch automatically engages when the door closes.
The lock includes two remote input connections for a reception button release and an alarm release. The alarm release unlocks the door for 30 minutes to permit emergency access.
An LED indicator shows whether the lock is engaged or disengaged, and a built-in tamper alarm alerts users to any tampering attempts.
Powered by 4 AA batteries, the lock can perform approximately 200,000 operations with fresh, high-quality batteries. A low battery warning notifies users when it’s time to replace the batteries.
